Learn about self-compassion with this free Pinterest infographic. Start being kinder to yourself by transforming your mindset.
Who is the only person available at all times to treat you with care and kindness no matter the circumstances? Look in the mirror to see the answer: you.
Research shows over and over again that women love to push care and kindness for themselves below the rest of their to-do list. Real talk: you need to make self-compassion a priority in your daily life.
Sample To-Do List Without Self-Compassion:
- build that new opt-in
- do laundry
- care for children/pets
- feed your dog/cat/children
- pin content to Pinterest
- produce content
- and so on
And all the way down at the bottom:
- care and kindness of their own feelings
Overall, we all forget this fact whether we’re new entrepreneurs or long-term business owners. Because we find it much easier to push prioritize everything else and forget to remember that we are part of a shared human experience. Which is why I believe that we should evaluate priorities as a way to maintain balance.

In spite of the seeming simplicity of self-compassion as a concept, the true difficulty lies in the development of self-compassion as a daily practice. After all, we have all read self-help books that haven’t helped us because we didn’t dedicate ourselves to developing the recommended habit.
